On Sunday, November 7th, 2021, Sweet Meadow joined over 40 other wedding vendors for the 2021 Portland Maine Wedding Show at the DoubleTree by Hilton. Engaged couples joined in for this fantastic event where they received a swag bag upon entry, entered some amazing giveaways and had the chance to connect with vendors ranging from photographers, venues, bakers, coordinators and many more! This event was hosted by New England Premier Events which has been bringing bridal shows, wedding shows and many more events for over 20 years.
Sweet Meadow Weddings and Events joined in on this event, their first ever wedding show they have participated in. Lindsey Beaulieu, Wedding Coordinator at Sweet Meadow expressed, “I was so thrilled to be a part of this amazing event. Not only were we able to put our wedding venue in front of hundreds of eyes, we were able to network with other vendors who welcomed our new venue and gave us some fantastic advice regarding the wedding industry. Kathy Sonderegger and her team did such a fantastic job organizing this event.” Lindsey Beaulieu was joined by her business partner Leigh Beaulieu-Fisher as well as Mitch Degere who has many roles, but mainly keeps the gardens looking outstanding at Sweet Meadow.
The booth for Sweet Meadow was picturesque. You would have thought that they took their wedding venue and dropped it right into the hotel. The booth was lined with birch trees that strung tulle and fairy lights from the branches. They brought in a whiskey barrel that is one out of the nine they have on property which is included in the wedding packages. Lastly, they had large photos that showcased what it may look like if a couple were to have their wedding at Sweet Meadow. The feedback about the booth setup was remarkable and people were drawn to not only the booth display but also their yellow 1967 Chevy pickup truck that was parked out front in which couples can use for photos and drive in on their special day.
During the show, Sweet Meadow held a drawing for a $100 gift card to use towards any one of their three wedding packages. Sweet Meadow would like to congratulate Taylor and Joe for winning their drawing.
